ModWash is a car wash in Altoona, Pennsylvania. It is listed at 530 W Plank Rd, Altoona, PA 16602, which places it among the local businesses of Altoona that residents and visitors turn to when they need this kind of service close by.

In Altoona, washes are busiest on sunny weekends and the first dry day after rain or a snowstorm, when lines back onto the street; weekday mornings are the quietest. Across Pennsylvania, expect a basic exterior wash to cost about what a fast-food meal does, with wax, tire shine and undercarriage rinse sold as tiers above it. Self-service bays are the cheapest way to clean a truck bed, a muddy off-roader or a vehicle that will not fit a tunnel, and many run around the clock. Check the listing for the wash type, hours, free vacuums, unlimited plans and whether the site accepts cards or app payments, then call ahead in freezing weather, when tunnels close.

Hours are published for 7 days a week. The most common schedule is 8 am–8 pm. Hours in the United States do change around federal holidays and long weekends, so a quick call before a special trip is sensible. The listed phone number is (423) 485-0005. Many businesses also reply to text messages on the same number if it is a cell phone. Its website is modwash.com, where you may find menus, price lists or booking options.

Customers rate it 4.8 out of 5 on Google across 1,231 reviews, placing it among the better-regarded car washes in Altoona.

Altoona is in Pennsylvania, in the Northeast, where four distinct seasons shape local life: hot humid summers, snowy winters that can close businesses for a day, and a dense pattern of towns where walking, transit and street parking all matter. US addresses list the street number and name, then the city, state abbreviation and ZIP code, and Altoona follows the same pattern; a suite or apartment number such as Ste 200 refers to a unit inside the building. The map link on this page shows the exact spot.
